About NDDC Scholarship
To increase Human Resource Development in the Niger Delta region, the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), is once again embarking on its Foreign Post Graduate Scholarship Programme to equip Nigerian Youths with relevant training and skills for efficient and effective participation in the local content programme of the Federal Government, as well as enable Nigerian Youths to gain specialization in their fields of study and therefore compete internationally in several professional fields.
Job Duties:
NDDC Scholarship also known as NDDC Foreign Scholarship, NDDC Foreign Postgraduate Scholarship, NDDC International Scholarship, NDDC Masters Scholarship or NDDC Postgraduate Scholarship is for suitably eligible and qualified candidates, with required and relevant Bachelor’s Degrees from recognized Universities in the following professional disciplines:
A. Agricultural Sciences/Biotechnology
B. Engineering
C. Environmental Sciences
D. Geosciences
E. Information Technology/Artificial Intelligence
F. Medical Sciences
G. Architecture/Building Technology
H. Law
Skills And Experience:
The following are benefits of NDDC Scholarship:

Requirements for NDDC Scholarship
The following are the requirements for NDDC Scholarship:
1. Candidates applying for the NDDC scholarship, must hail from the Niger Delta Region.
2. Candidates applying for the NDDC scholarship must have achieved a First Class Degree or Second Class Upper Division.
3. Candidates applying for the NDDC scholarship must not be 40 years or above.
NDDC Scholarship Selection Process
The following are the selection process for the NDDC Scholarship:
A. Initial Application: Interested, qualified and eligible candidates must submit an online NDDC application through the NDDC application portal
B. Preliminary Shortlisting: Candidates applying for the NDDC Scholarship will be shortlisted based on the following requirements for NDDC Scholarship:
1. WASSCE/NECO results
2. Undergraduate degree classification (1st Class or Second Class Upper Division)
3. Local Government Identification

How To Apply:
NDDC will not enter into any form of communication with candidates who are not shortlisted for the Computer Based Test (CBT), candidates who are not invited for NDDC oral interview or candidates that are not successful during the NDDC oral interviews.
Preferences will be given to candidates from Oil Producing Host/Communities/Local Government Areas as long as candidates meet the approved computer based test cut off mark.
NDDC will ensure a fair spread of courses amongst beneficiaries within each State.
Deferment, Change of Institution and Course are not allowed. NDDC reserves the sole and absolute discretion to shortlist in line with the above stated requirements for NDDC Scholarship and its internal consideration. The decision of NDDC in this regard is final.
D. Minimum Test Score: Candidates sitting for the NDDC computer based test must get a minimum score of 70% in the test to proceed to the next stage of the NDDC Scholarship selection process.
E. Further Shortlisting: Candidates who successfully pass the NDDC Scholarship computer based test will be further shortlisted for NDDC oral interview.
F. Final Verification of Candidates: The final verification of the candidates will be done through the Local Government Area (LGA) and Community Development Committee (CDC)
